It’s the day of A-level results, and also of Chris’s funeral. The gang have made a pact not to look at their grades til after they’ve said goodbye to Chris. But Chris’ Dad tells Sid that he doesn’t want his son’s ‘junkie friends’ at the funeral. So Tony and Sid decide to steal Chris’ coffin only to be chased by Chris’ father and eventually told by Jal to give it back to him. The friends watch from the hill looking down on the funeral and say their last goodbyes to their friend. After the funeral, the friends open their A Level Results to Anwar’s disgust.

The episode starts with a montage of the main characters carrying on their lives around Chris, who suffered from a Subarachnoid haemorrhage. Cassie goes to take her final exam, A Level Philosophy, and ends up seeing the real person behind the strict principal after they dance together to Funkytown by Lipps Inc. Michelle and Tony seem to be ‘just friends’, both leaving for different universities, Michelle to University of York, and Tony to Cardiff University.

Michelle, Chris, Anwar, Maxxie, Jal, Sid and Scarlet (Michelle’s new step-sister) go camping for Michelle’s birthday. Tony declines the invitation because he says that Michelle still needs time. After an emotional conversation with Sid about the death of his father, Michelle sleeps with him. Later she opens the gift that Tony had give her before they left and finds that it is a watch, explaining Tony’s statement about time. Anwar meets up with Sketch near the campsite and they have sex. Maxxie catches them. Sid and Michelle return home as boyfriend and girlfriend.
